The report pointed out that digital intelligent change empowerment is leading the catering industry to achieve new growth and become a new trend in the development of the catering industry.
According to the report, with the evolution of digital technology from concept to application tool to in-depth management of the ecosystem, the digital transformation and transformation of China's catering industry are accelerating and iterating, showing a trend from the "digital stage" of recording business data and the "digital stage" of analyzing problems with data to the "digital stage" of intelligent management and artificial intelligence application.
According to the report, from the transformation of digitalization to digitalization, more catering enterprises recognize the engine role of digitalization in the three core growth points of operational efficiency, member value and brand scale, and the demand for digitalization is changing from front-end takeout, small program ordering and other customer services to the use of digital systems to improve the comprehensive competitiveness of stores and industrial upstream and downstream collaboration. This has led to the rapid growth of the size of the intelligent catering market.
Zhang Xin, head of audit service of consumer catering industry in South China region of KPMG, believes that the changes brought by digital intelligence to catering enterprises are mainly reflected in the optimization and innovation of the traditional operation mode of the catering industry. "Some leading catering companies are skillfully integrating technology foundation, smart middle desk and business applications, and deeply exploring the application scenarios and potential value of digitalization in key links such as marketing, product development and scale expansion."
Zhang Xin said that the intelligent catering involves multiple dimensions such as consumer operation, intelligent marketing planning, business and decision management, and enterprises need to conduct a comprehensive review and analysis to build a complete set of intelligent solutions. At the same time, the digital intelligence program must be closely matched to the actual situation of the enterprise, including the system architecture, specific business, customer groups, etc., in order to truly achieve cost reduction and efficiency, and give full play to the advantages.
